Taty + Jonathan's Glorified Elopement

I'm so elated to share with you all my first elopement/wedding shoot! I met Taty a year ago when I first started photography again and she was an absolute ray of sunshine to work with. She's so creative and ethereal and so joyful that we immediately connected. We shot one other time after that for her products but it wasn't until about a month ago, she had asked Lucas (yup, same Lucas that shoots for me), and me to shoot her "glorified elopement." She didn't want to call it a wedding at all, but she wanted it to be a small gathering and she wanted the ceremony to be quick.


If you didn't know, I want to get into shooting elopements. I love love shooting couples and after that session, it solidified my love for shooting romance. I'm so stinkin' excited to share some photos with you. Ah. We shot at the Rock Quarry and although I was nervous about it being so bright (like 3pm bright), the photos turned out really well.

Taty looked absolutely ethereal and there was such a twinkle in both their eyes as they looked at each other that made me believe in magic. There were SO many photos to choose from, these photos are only a tidbit of what magic we created but these are a few of my favorites:

I love smiley kisses. Jonathan was all smiles that day.

I'm also a fan of the "almost" kisses. There's something just so sweet and lingering about them!

The bouquet was styled and made by the groom himself! How romantic is that?
